We had our interview last Saturday with the Parish priest of OLCP. The interview is a requirement before we could get our forms for the Banns. Ane was the first one to go, then it was my turn, then the two of us together.
I was kinda nervous about this interview. Ane was more nervous than I was (I think!) because he pissed me off big time the night before, ehehehe. Peace!
Anyway, it was easy, except that the priest spoke in english and he kept on eating his letters. I had to ask him to repeat some of his questions. But he tried to make it as light as possible, asking humurous/tivial questions such as:
"Do you plan to have an abortion?"
"Do you plan to leave the country and leave your spouse behind?"
"Are you religious?"
"Do you plan to kill him?"
I would flinch upon hearing the questions. But later I realized, it made sense, all of it. Afterall, marriage is a covenant that shouldn't be destroyed by no one or nothing but death.
I guess the priest just wants to be sure we are ready for such big commitment.
